8/18/2023 0 Comments Logmein pro price hike![]() ![]() I need to think this through a little more carefully but on the surface it looks like I now have 40 or so systems to convert to another vendor. And I can't trust them not to keep doing this because I can't keep changing my model every year to reflect their hikes. I explained to them they are not acting like a partner for my MSP consultancy. I finally got him to agree it's not a whole new product. There are none (other than getting pro accts that I don't even need at a 501% increase). My favorite part was that the whole time in the beginning the sales guy was like "basically this is a whole new product." I kept asking what the new enhancements are that I will get to enjoy at a 234% - 501% price hike. ![]() ![]() So a 234% increase over last year with no value added. So they offer to do central basic again but now it will be $699 (it was $299). I explained I really don't need Pro accts. Come to find out they were just going to auto convert my central basic account to central pro and give me a 57% discount this year ($699), then next year when it renews it shoots up to list price which is $1500! So a 501% increase over what I'm paying now. You are likely getting a huge discount this year off the list price. You can try it for 30 days for free but let me know if you have any further questions. Here's a link to the features page of GoToMyPC. You can do remote printing and if you give everyone their own individual seat on a corporate account, you can limit the number of machines per user but they'll only be able connect to the machine that they've set up with the access code that they've designated. I think GoToMyPC is a better option for your employees, who aren't techs. Is there a way to limit the machines that a technician can access, or better yet a regular employee? With LMI I can invite anyone to create an account and then specify that they can access only certain computers. Would all these employees also be classed as technicians too? I think of Technician's as the IT dept, and there's only two of us, but we have another dozen employees that currently use LMI to access their machine when they are out of the office, or access a machine elsewhere. David (Citrix) Just looking for some clarification to see whether GoToAssist would work for us to replace our LMI Central account.ĭoes GTA have Remote Print, I don't see it mentioned anywhere?Īlso, you only list pricing by Technician on the website. ![]()
